26-year-old James McDonagh who escaped from Hollesley Bay Prison near Woodbridge found and charged

A man who escaped from Hollesley Bay Prison has been found after an eight month search.

James McDonagh, 26, was reported missing from the prison after he failed to attend a roll call on Saturday, January 4.

He was arrested by police after having been found in Staffordshire and was subsequently charged with escaping lawful custody.

On Friday, July 31, he was remanded in custody at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court.
