Sudbury Police warning to motorists after car gatherings at Kingfisher Leisure Centre which have ‘detrimental effect’ on residents
Police have issued a warning to motorists gathering at a town leisure centre late at night and revving their engines.
Sudbury Police said it has received several complaints about gatherings at the Kingfisher Leisure Centre in recent days, with residents reporting loud engine revving, screeching tyres and screaming and shouting from drivers.
The force said this constituted anti-social behaviour and has a ‘detrimental effect’ on those living in the area.
Those under taking this sort of activity could receive:
- Fines
- Points on their licence
- Section 59 warning
- Have their vehicle seized
