Police appeal for help after three hurt in Suffolk 'explosion'
Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a fire in Great Cornard left three people in hospital.
Officers say the trio have potentially life-changing injuries.
Police were called shortly before 10pm last night to reports of an explosion in the outside area at the Kings Head pub in Bures Road near Sudbury.
It is believed the fire was caused by a small portable fuel heater.
Emergency crews from the fire and ambulance services went to the pub and three people were taken to hospital for treatment. The trio - two females and one male - remain in hospital after sustaining serious injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening but are potentially life-changing.
A scene remains in place while officers continue to investigate the circumstances. However, it is due to be lifted later this afternoon.
