Parents, carers and pupils had a fun day at Glemsford Primary Academy’s summer fete on Saturday.
The friends of the school organised the day, raising more than £830 for school funds in the process.
Headteacher Ben Jeffery said: “We had a fantastic day. It was a very traditional fete with lots of games and different stalls.
“We had a tug-of-war and there was a karate display by the Little Dragons of Glemsford. It was a very well-attended day.”
The children were set the task of coming up with their own ideas for fete stalls.
Then a competition was held to see who could raise the most money, said Mr Jeffery.
“Years five and six raised the most by selling slime and having lots of traditional games,” he added.
