PICTURES: Enthusiasts get revved up at classic car show in Castle Hedingham
Serious vintage and classic car enthusiasts made tracks for Castle Hedingham on Sunday to see what was on display at a classic and vintage car show.
Hundreds of fans were not disappointed by the big selection of vehicles on show, from dragsters and racing cars to classics lovingly restored from scratch by their owners.
The annual classic and vintage car event is held in the grounds of the Hedingham Castle which, this coming bank holiday weekend, is the backdrop for a jousting tournament on Sunday and Monday.
With the weather staying fair, and plenty of sunshine on the day, visitors to the classic and vintage car show got the opportunity to chat to owners and find out all about the pre-1989 classic vehicles.
There was also time to enjoy picnics and walks in the castle grounds.
Sunday and Monday’s jousting event runs from 10am to 5pm and includes falconry displays, have-a-go archery, musicians, maypole dancing and donkey rides.
