Christmas came a little early for visitors to The Old School in Long Melford on Sunday.
Volunteers and helpers from the small animal welfare charity Sesaw were spreading a little pre-Christmas cheer with their Santa outfits and hats at the charity’s annual Christmas fair fundraiser.

The pet rehoming centre, based in Leavenheath, organised a variety of stalls selling seasonal gifts and decorations, crafts, jewellery and decorative glass.
Pat Ferdinando, Sesaw secretary, praised everyone who helped with the event, which raised £3,000.
As well as a raffle, there were also some games to keep the fair’s visitors entertained throughout the day.
