Starbucks to open store in Sudbury Sainsbury's on March 9

The opening date for a new Starbucks store in Suffolk has been confirmed.

Signs for the coffee shop were put up in the Sainsbury's supermarket, in Cornard Road, Sudbury, earlier this year.

An opening date for the store has been set for Thursday, March 9.

The first 100 customers through the door will receive a free goody bag.

It comes after the chain announced plans to open more than 100 new coffee shops in the UK following a rise in sales.

The café giant said it aims to invest £30 million in its UK operation through the store openings, as well as a raft of refurbishments to existing sites.
