Fire teams from Colchester, Sudbury and Long Melford attend overnight house fire in Hillside Road
Emergency services spent the early hours of this morning battling a blaze that had taken hold of a house.
Fire crews, police and ambulance teams were alerted to an incident in Hillside Road, Sudbury, at 1.46am, following reports that a terraced house was ablaze.
About five engines, including two from Colchester, two from Sudbury, and one from Long Melford, were called.
The fire was concentrated to the building's first floor.
A spokesperson for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said no one was trapped in the house.
However, one casualty was left with the ambulance service after the fire, they added.
The fire had been extinguished by 4.57am and teams left the scene.
