Little Gems Interiors begins new era after moving from Assington to expanded premises in Long Melford

An interior decorations hub is set to embark on a new chapter after moving to expanded premises, which will begin welcoming customers this weekend.

Little Gems Interiors has completed its move to Long Melford after six years of trading at Assington Barns.

Now based at The Old White Hart in Little St Mary’s, the business will stage a grand opening of its new home on Saturday, with free goody bags available for the first 100 shoppers.

The move to a larger venue has enabled the shop to increase its selection of products, which includes curated decorations, gifts and home accessories.

Lynn Williamott, owner of Little Gems, said the team is looking forward to welcoming both new and existing customers.

She explained that part of the reason behind the move was to expand the creative aspect of the business, with a programme of workshops where people can go hands on with interior design and crafting.

“This move marks a significant milestone for Little Gems Interiors,” she said.

“We have been searching for the perfect location to grow and evolve our business, and we are delighted to have found it in Long Melford.

“This beautiful building offers many opportunities to expand and diversify, bringing even more unique interior and gift lines to customers.

“This new space will not only allow us to expand our boutique offerings, but also enhance our creative centre and workshop programmes.

“Little Gems Interiors also has plans to diversify its offerings further, ensuring that the business continues to evolve in line with customer needs and trends.”

Dates for the upcoming creative workshops at Little Gems will be shared in due course.
