Oliver’s Brewery office site, in Cornard Road, Sudbury, set to be auctioned by William H Brown




A building dating back to the 19th century is set to be auctioned after permission was granted to transform it into six apartments.

Estate agents William H Brown are marketing the former office building of Oliver’s Brewery in Cornard Road, Sudbury, with a guide price of £550,000.

The site on the edge of the town centre includes parking and gardens.

Planning permission was granted to D Mason Developments Limited by Babergh District Council, last November.

The developers were given three years to complete the project.

Documents lodged at the time related to to the the creation of two two-bedroom and one single-bedroom flat on the ground floor, and three two-bedroom flats on the first floor.

The main Oliver’s Brewery building was created in the late 19th century and the brewery’s office was rebuilt in 1902.
