Great British Bake Off inspires unique nativity production at The Playbox Nursery in Sudbury

A Christmas production inspired by the hit TV cooking show The Great British Bake Off is entertaining parents in Sudbury today.

Youngsters at The Playbox Nursery are performing their unique take on the nativity story, titled The Bethlehem Bake Off, at St John’s Methodist Church Hall.

Nursery manager Nicky Hillman said: “We are all so excited for the return of our nursery’s nativity this year.

“All the children have enjoyed singing, dancing and learning songs with our pianist Isabel Hebden, capturing the magic of Christmas.

“My colleagues and I are so proud with all they have achieved, the confidence they have performing and how often they have been asking when the big show will be.

“The nativity is always a rewarding event in the calendar at Playbox for the staff, especially now family and friends can return to the audience.”
