Four men charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine after arrests in Halstead and north Essex
Four men have been charged in connection with an investigation into the supply of illegal drugs in north Essex, after arrests in Halstead and two other towns.
Essex Police confirmed it had executed arrest warrants at addresses in Halstead, Braintree and Colchester on Wednesday, December 11, between 4.25am and 5.30am.
James Martin, 42, of Trinity Street, Halstead, Jack Holliday, 24, of Devon Road, Colchester, William Locke, 22, of Connaught Close, Colchester, and Jake Gregory, 27, of no fixed address, have all been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine.
All four men have been remanded and they are scheduled to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Friday, January 10.
As part of the same investigation, Kian Rulten, 24, of Morant Road, Colchester, was charged with possession of a firearm when prohibited for five years and selling a prohibited weapon and ammunition. He is due to stand trial at Chelmsford Crown Court on Monday, April 6, 2020.
