Family say goodbye to Muriel, 100

Muriel Daisy Bloomfield, who recently celebrated her 100th birthday has died at her home in Hazell Court residential home in Acton Lane, Sudbury.

Mrs Bloomfield died on August 25, having been at the home for seven years.

Here she is pictured celebrating her birthday at Hazel Court on Midsummers Day this year, proudly holding her card from the Queen.

Her son Edward, said: “She will be greatly missed by her sons, her daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all of her family and friends.”
