Dramatic footage of suspected arson attack in Leavenheath captured by drone




Dramatic footage of a blaze in Leavenheath, which is being treated as a suspected arson attack, have been captured by drone.

Police are appealing for information following the incident at the former Lion pub in Leavenheath.

Officers were alerted to a blaze at the vacant site in Honey Tye, shortly after 2.15pm yesterday (Thursday).

Residents were instructed to close their windows and doors while fire crew tackled the blaze.

Temporary road closures on the A134 were put in place during the incident.

Enquiries into the cause of the blaze, which police say is being treated as suspicious, are being conducted.

Anyone with information that can assist with the investigation, is asked to contact Pc 1887 John Camp at Haverhill Police Station, on 101, quoting the crime reference number 37/18255/20.
