New electronic music night in Clare near Haverhill and Sudbury has teenage audience in mind

A DJ music extravaganza for teenagers is coming to Clare Town Hall this week.

Taking place from 7.30 to 10.30pm on Friday at the venue equidistant from Sudbury and Haverhill, it has been created by Clare resident, Neda Tak after she noticed there was ‘not much for young people to do’.

She said: “For me growing up in London, under 18s nights were events I would really look forward to.

“These events were a core memory that shaped my life for the better. I want to provide an exciting space for young people to enjoy themselves, and listen to great DJs with their friends.

“We have a top-of-the-range sound system and special effects, so everyone is in for a real treat with sets from local DJs – PDG and Sayna Moore.

‘It is a social opportunity for young people to meet others and have a great time.

“I also want parents to be reassured that this is a safe environment with licensed security and we have a strict no drug and no alcohol policy. Soft drinks and snacks will be available.”
