Covid-19 vaccination clinic open for walk-ins at Sudbury Town Hall
A walk-in Covid vaccination clinic is back at Sudbury Town Hall this week.
Eligible people will be able to drop into the town hall to receive their jab, without needing to book an appointment in advance, today from 12pm to 9pm, and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, between 9.30am and 5.30pm.
The service, operated by the NHS West Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group, can offer anybody aged 12 and above the first dose of the vaccine, while anybody who had their first dose at least 12 weeks ago can receive their second jab.
Booster jabs are also available for eligible adults, providing at least three months have elapsed since they had their second dose of the vaccine.
Due to high demand at previous clinics, visitors have been advised that there may be long queues, so anybody attending should dress warmly.
“We are doing our best to reduce the waiting time and would like to thank you for your patience,” a statement from the NHS added.
