Charity car wash at East of England Co-op Funeral Services gives boost to Kernos Centre in Sudbury




Staff at the East of England Co-op Funeral Services held a charity car wash outside their offices in Cornard Road in Sudbury on Saturday morning.

The fundraiser collected £160 for the town’s counselling service, the Kernos Centre, in Friars Street.

Organiser Jodie Cartwright from the Co-op said her colleagues Rebekah Henderson, James Fennessy, Chris Sparkes and Aaron Farrell took part in the fundraising event.

“We had hoped that more people would stop when they drove by, but maybe it’s something that needs to get established as happening each year,” she said.

“All the money goes to the charity.”
