Charity aims to raise awareness of domestic abuse with fundraising event in Sudbury




A fundraising event is being staged in Sudbury in aid of a charity, which raises awareness of domestic abuse.

Taking place at AFC Sudbury stadium on Wednesday, between 6.30pm and 9pm, a range of stalls will be showcasing various goods including skin care products, clothes, jewellery and home-made items.

All proceeds are in aid of Compassion, a charity which operates across the Babergh district to provide support for victims of domestic abuse.

The charity runs various programmes and groups to combat domestic abuse.

Prizes up for grabs at the grand raffle include beauty treatments and restaurant vouchers.
