Arrest after armed robbery at Sudbury post office this evening

A man has been arrested after an armed robbery in Sudbury this evening, Thursday March 31.
Police are currently in attendance at Ballingdon Road Post Office, Sudbury, following an armed robbery.
Officers were called at 6.44pm today after a male allegedly entered the premises and threatened staff with a knife and demanded money and cigarettes.
The offender then left the premises in the direction of The Kings Head Public House.
A man was arrested soon after.
