Appeal launched to trace missing 49-year-old man from Layham

An appeal to help trace a 49-year-old man, who went missing from his home near Hadleigh yesterday afternoon, has been launched by police.

Officers are concerned for the wellbeing of Simon Gibbs, who was last seen leaving his home address in Layham at around 1.30pm on Wednesday.

Simon is described as a white man, with short dark brown hair, of slim build and standing between five feet 11 inches and six feet in height.

At the time he was last seen, he was wearing a beige polo shirt and slightly darker beige cargo trousers, and is believed to have had a black rain jacket and a baseball hat with him.
