Appeal after burglars steal cigarettes from Co-op in Great Cornard




An appeal to trace those responsible for an overnight break-in at a convenience store in Great Cornard has been launched.

The burglary occurred at the Co-op in Canhams Road on Friday, September 13 at approximately 4am.

During this time, a pair of offenders forced entry into the shop via the front door, before breaking into a cigarette kiosk inside, from which they stole a quantity of tobacco products.

They are believed to have fled the scene in a dark-coloured saloon type car, leaving the car park by turning left into Canhams Road and then driving off in the direction of Head Lane.

The first suspect is described as being tall and of medium build. He had been wearing a light grey Nike hooded jumper, dark jeans, black trainers and a balaclava.

The second suspect is described as being tall and of medium build. He was wearing a grey Superdry-style coat, blue jeans, navy trainers and a balaclava.
