Langams café and wine bar in Market Place, Stowmarket, set to close

A popular town café and wine bar is set to close, after the building it is in was put up for sale.

Langams in Market Place, Stowmarket, is known for its coffee, quiz nights and cocktail evenings.

The building has been listed on Right Move, with an asking price of £210,000.

Right Move said: “The premises comprise of an attractive grade II-listed mid-18th century property.

“Langams Café and Wine Bar has occupied the premises since 2019 and due to a change of personal circumstances the café will be closing upon completion of a sale.”

Langams remains open to customers. Cocktail nights run by the Heart of Suffolk Distillery will continue until the building is sold.
