A140 in Little Stonham closed due to hot weather creating unsafe surface

Police have closed a Suffolk road due to the hot weather creating an unsafe surface for motorists.

The A140 is shut between The Stonham Magpie pub in Little Stonham and the junction for Mickfield.

A spokesperson for Suffolk Police said: "The road surface is causing problems for motorists and is unsafe due to the hot weather."

Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
