Man in 20s dies after lorry crash on A14 near Stowmarket
A man in his 20s has died after a lorry hit a pedestrian on the A14 near Stowmarket.
Police were called to the scene on the westbound carriageway at around 10.30pm yesterday following reports of a collision near junction 49.
Ambulance crews were also in attendance but the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed for several hours while investigations were carried out but opened shortly before 5am.
The man's next of kin have been informed.
