Stowmarket man arrested as Suffolk Police discover cannabis factory in raid

A man has been arrested after a suspected cannabis factory bust in Stowmarket.

Officers raided a property in the town on Wednesday, March 1, under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.

Several cannabis plants were found during the search and seized by police.

A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of producing or being concerned in the production of a controlled Class B Drug and taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre.

He has been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
