Man, 18, arrested after car crashes into Stowmarket house, in Brooke Way

An 18-year-old man has been arrested after a car crashed into a house.

Police were called just after 3.05pm yesterday to reports that a grey Peugeot had veered the road and collided with a house, in Brooke Way, Stowmarket.

A structural engineer was called to the scene.

An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, driving without a valid licence and driving without insurance.

He was taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning and has been released under investigation pending further inquiries.
