A14 roadworks, near Stowmarket, from Haughley to Tothill, should be finished by end of July, National Highways says
Major resurfacing work on the A14 outside Stowmarket is expected to finish in July.
National Highways has been working on a stretch of the carriageway, between Haughley and Tothill from junction 47a to junction 49, since February 20 last year.
A contraflow system was in place on the westbound route, which was lifted on Sunday.
However, the eastbound route is still reduced to a single lane, with overnight closures, while work continues.
A spokeswoman for National Highways said the authority expected the resurfacing project to be completed by the end of July.
This has been brought forward from the original estimated completion date of August.
