A140 at Wetheringsett, between Diss and Stowmarket, reopens after three-vehicle crash




A road that has been closed for much of the day due to a three-vehicle crash has been reopened.

The A140 Brockford Street in Weatheringsett was closed after a van, a car and a pickup truck hit each other.

The crash saw police, ambulances and air ambulances attend.

Suffolk Police has revealed details of the three vehicles involved in the crash.

They were a black Toyota Prius, a silver Ford Transit van and a black Mitsubishi L200 Warrior.

Two drivers were injured and treated at the scene before being taken away in a land ambulance.

Their injuries were not life-threatening, and both were taken to Ipswich Hospital by land ambulance.

During recovery, the A140 was closed in both directions, but reopened at a little after 2pm.

The police are looking for witnesses or any information regarding the crash.
