Stowmarket venue The Regal hosts George Harrison tribute performance




One of the greatest musicians of all time will be remembered in a performance celebrating his best-loved songs from The Beatles and his solo career.

The George Harrison Project will be performing at The Regal in Ipswich Street, Stowmarket, on Thursday, September 21 from 7.30pm.

The group will play hits like Here Comes The Sun, My Sweet Lord, While My Guitar Gently Weeps and other songs including tracks from 1970’s classic album, All Things Must Pass.

George Harrison helped The Beatles to become the best-selling music act of all time with 600 million units sold worldwide.

He died in 2001, however his music lives on through The George Harrison Project who were invited to the musician’s childhood home in Liverpool to record an acoustic set last year.

The group will also play at the Corn Hall in Diss and Haverhill Arts Centre next year.
