Stowmarket mum creates poppy display ahead of Remembrance Day

A mum-of-three from Stowmarket has described the reaction to her Remembrance display on the Cedars Park estate as 'amazing'.

Sara-Anne Southgate, 35, is well known in the town for the themed displays she creates at the front of her home.

A post about the striking poppy display, has already had more than 650 likes in a local Facebook group, with people from across Stowmarket thanking Sara-Anne for the effort she has gone to.

Sara-Anne, who is mum to Elodie-Rose, Jaxon and Harvey, said: "This is the first time I have made a display for Remembrance but I always do Easter, Halloween, Christmas and events like the Jubilee.

"Now I have started something and people have asked if I will do something for every occasion, so I am taking on the challenge."

Sara-Anne said she has received 'really lovely comments' about her Remembrance display and her son's have been excitedly watching the numbers on the Facebook post go up.
