Areas surrounding rivers Waveney and Dove, including Diss, issued with flood alert

A flood alert has been issued for areas surrounding two of the county’s major rivers.

The warning concerns the Rivers Waveney and Dove, from Diss to Ellingham.

Areas at risk include Mendlesham, Bacton (near Stowmarket), Gislingham, Fressingfield, Hoxne and several areas near the A143 and A1066.
