Crash on A14 westbound in roadworks near Stowmarket causes severe delays for motorists

A multi-vehicle crash in the A14 roadworks caused severe delays to motorists this morning.
Police were called at 6.25am to the two-vehicle collision on the A14 westbound around the Haughley area, near Stowmarket.
No injuries were reported, with the National Highways free recovery used to remove the vehicles from the road.
Police had left the scene by 6.40am.
There are delays stretching back past junction 49 to the area above the A1308 roundabout on the westbound carriageway approaching the roadworks.
