A14 central reservation damaged and carriageway reopens between Stowmarket and Needham Market after three-vehicle crash




The central reservation on part of the A14 has been damaged and a carriageway has reopened following a three-vehicle crash.

Police were called at 6.13am to the incident eastbound between junction 50, outside Stowmarket, and junction 51 at Needham Market.

A National Highways spokesperson said at 7.51am the major route was fully open after the eastbound lane was shut while officers waited for recovery.

The crash involved two cars and a lorry.

A Suffolk Police spokesperson said the central reservation will need repairing following the collision.

A person suffered a minor injury.

It is the fifth crash on the A14 in the past 24 hours.
