Suffolk campsites, including Haw Wood Farm, in Darsham, and Sutton Hoo Holidays, score big in Campsites.co.uk awards

Several Suffolk campsites were ranked among the best in the region and the country in a recent awards ceremony.

Haw Wood Farm Caravans and Camping, in Darsham, was named the national runner up for Best Family Campsite, as well as taking the crown for the eastern region in the 2024 Campsites.co.uk awards.

It was also recognised as the Best Caravan Park for the East of England.

Just over the border, in Diss, Ling’s Meadow was named the national runner up for Greener Site.

Set in a wildflower meadow with onsite alpacas, the site offers solar powered showers and luxury compost loos, providing facilities with as little impact on the meadow as possible.

Martin Smith, founder of Campsites.co.uk, said: “Our annual awards give us the opportunity to celebrate the UK's best campsites, and this year's standards feel higher than ever.
