Mildenhall Town complete signing of former Soham Town Rangers striker Sam Mulready following departure of Tom Newman to Berkhamsted
Mildenhall Town have bolstered their attacking ranks with the signing of Sam Mulready.
‘Hall boss Phil Weavers had been eager to add to his forward options following Tom Newman’s recent departure to Berkhamsted.
And the exit of Newman has now been off-set by Mulready’s arrival – a striker that has scored a number of goals over the years, particularly for Mildenhall’s near-neighbours Soham Town Rangers.
Mulready made his Mildenhall debut on Saturday during the 2-0 victory on the road at Walthamstow in the Pitching In Isthmian League North Division.
The result – sealed by a brace of goals from Ben Nolan – ended Mildenhall’s run of four straight defeats in all competitions.
New addition Mulready wrote on the social networking site X: “Buzzing to join @MildenhallTown and great to kick it off with a win.”
Next up for 14th-placed Mildenhall is a home clash against Witham Town (5th) on Saturday, October 19 (3pm).
