A group of travellers have set up camp in a Soham town centre car park.

On Friday the convoy of about 10 caravans entered the Clay Street car park, which is near the town's Asda supermarket. The car park is owned by East Cambridgeshire District Council.

Sgt Mark Rabel, of Cambridgeshire Police, said: "We are aware of a caravan encampment in Soham and we visited the location with officers from East Cambridgeshire District Council today.
