An investigation is under way after a Co-op in a village high street was targeted by thieves in the early hours.
Cambridgeshire Police was called to the shop in High Street, Linton, at 12.20am, after an alarm was activated.
On arrival at the Co-op, in the village near Haverhill, they found a burglary had taken place but the thieves had left the area.
In February 2022, staff at the the same store, in Linton, were threatened by two men with crowbars, who stole about £8,000 in cash.
