Soham man arrested on suspicion of two counts of sexual assault

A Soham man has been arrested on suspicion of two counts of sexual assault.

At about 4.15pm a 56-year-old man from the town was arrested in Ely on two counts of sexual assault on a woman.

One of the offences is in connection with an incident in Soham's High Street yesterday afternoon. The other is relating to an incident on June 28.

He was taken to Parkside Police Station, Cambridge, where he remains in custody.
