Woman taken to hospital after crash in Stowmarket Road, Needham Market

A woman was taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash.

Police were called to the crash between a car and a van in Stowmarket Road, Needham Market, at around 7.40am.

The woman was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Earlier this morning, a three-vehicle crash on the A14 damaged the central reservation nearby — between junction 50, near Stowmarket, and junction 51 at Needham Market — causing heavy delays in the area.

This marks the fifth incident on the A14 within 24 hours.
