Air ambulance attends scene of A14 eastbound crash between Stowupland and Needham Market

The air ambulance has attended the scene of a serious crash on a major road.

Police were called at 6.42am to a two-vehicle collision on the A14 eastbound, between Stowupland and Needham Market (junction 50 to 51).

Whilst at first only the eastbound carriageway was closed, the westbound side soon followed.

Emergency Services are at the scene of a collision eastbound on the A14 just past the A140 junction. Both lanes closed eastbound and westbound Two cars involved, one person injured. Incident happened at 6.40am. Long delays expected.

Suffolk Police posted on X to say one person has been injured in the collision and long delays are expected.

A spokesperson also stated that by 8.20am the air ambulance had attended the scene.
