New play area opens at Needham Lake close to the Duck and Teapot Café

A play area at a Suffolk beauty spot has reopened with hopes it will be used by families for years to come.

The new facilities at Needham Lake include an inclusive hammock, jumper (trampoline), sensory totem poles and a storytelling area.

Children have already been enjoying the revamped play park which opened at the lake managed by Mid Suffolk District Council, earlier this week.

A council spokesman said: ““We hope that families are able to make good use of the equipment during their days out at Needham Lake this summer, and for years to come.

“Thank you to our partners KOMPAN for helping this project come to life.”

The play area can be found next to the Duck and Teapot café, which opened in 2022.
