Three additional seasonal markets to be introduced to Mildenhall in 2025

Three additional markets are set to be introduced to a town bringing new opportunities for the community to shop, explore and support local traders.

Following the success of existing markets in Mildenhall, new seasonal events will take place in the spring, autumn and winter, with a variety of stalls offering local produce, crafts, gifts and more.

The markets will feature a mix of returning traders and new stallholders.

They will also include free entertainment and music, street food, and festive themes appropriate to the season.

Cllr Indy Wijenayaka, cabinet member for growth at West Suffolk Council, said: “These additional markets will bring fresh opportunities for local businesses while also giving residents and visitors an enhanced shopping experience.

“We’re excited to add more seasonal events to the Mildenhall calendar, giving people more chances to support local traders and enjoy a vibrant market atmosphere.”

The markets will be held in the Market Place from 10am until 3pm:

Spring Market – Sunday, April 13

Autumn Market – Sunday, September 14

Festive Market – Sunday, December 14

Local businesses and traders interested in securing a stall are encouraged to get in touch with West Suffolk Council.
