Food delivery drivers stopped by police in Elveden, near Thetford, and Barton Mills, near Mildenhall, for having no insurance




A pair of food delivery drivers were stopped by officers for having no insurance.

Police were patrolling around the Forest Heath area yesterday and seized two vehicles.

The first vehicle was seized on the B1106 in Elveden, near Thetford, at about 12.30pm.

The second was seized at Fiveways Roundabout in Barton Mills, near Mildenhall, at about 3pm.

A Forest Heath Police spokesperson said: "Both by chance were food delivery drivers, probably with some unhappy customers on the 'non' receiving end."

Officers also engaged with lots of people in Mildenhall while on foot patrol.
