Police arrest two men after handbag stolen in Lowestoft

Suffolk Police have arrested two men in connection with a handbag theft in Lowestoft.

The incident took place inside All Saints St Margaret Church, on The Causeway, on August 21, at 10.15am.

Two men entered the church during the start of the morning worship with one man distracting the attending congregation.

The other man stole an unattended handbag from a rear pew seat, before both of them left on foot.
