Police appeal after boy assaulted by man near Butley Drive, Lowestoft, on his way to school




Police are appealing for information after a boy was assaulted on his way to school this morning.

The boy was walking with a friend in an alleyway near Butley Drive, Lowestoft, between 8.15am and 8.30am when a man approached him from behind and grabbed him with both hands.

The man then let go and cycled off.

The boy was very shaken but not hurt.

The man is described as being in his 30s, with tanned skin, dirty blond hair and a pimple above his lip.

He was wearing black jogging bottoms and a fluorescent green jacket.
