Person rescued from Spexhall Way flat in Lowestoft after fire breaks out

Firefighters came to the rescue last night after a Lowestoft flat went up in flames and left a person trapped.
Five fire crews, from North Lowestoft, Lowestoft South and Great Yarmouth, were initially called to the flat in Spexhall Way just before 11pm yesterday, with three later stood down.
One person was rescued from a first-floor bedroom after the stairway became blocked.
Ambulance crews and police were also in attendance.
