Multiple Lowestoft vans broken into in spate of thefts over weekend




Multiple vans were broken into in a spate of thefts in a town this weekend.

Five vehicles in Lowestoft were the targets of thieves between Friday afternoon and Monday morning.

A transit van was broken into in Winnipeg Road at some time between Friday and Monday, with power tools stolen from inside (reference: 37/15083/24).

Another transit van parked outside of a property in Payne Street was broken into between 4pm on Friday and 1pm on Sunday. Tools were taken by thieves (reference: 37/15051/24).

An attempt was made to break into a van in Marlborough Road between 10am on Saturday and 7am on Monday. The back door was damaged but entry was not gained (reference: 37/15148/24).

Several drills and a circular saw were stolen from a van in St Margaret’s Road after it was broken into between 4pm on Saturday and 11am on Sunday (reference: 37/15012/24).

A flatbed vehicle in a Blyford Road car park had its netting removed. Thieves gained access to a lock box and took saws and a drill. An attempt was made to open the driver’s door but this failed (reference: 37/15163/24).
