Corn snake, Mercedes, reunited, with owner thanks to Lowestoft Police appeal
Police Officers in a Suffolk town have thanked members of the public after a corn snake called Mercedes was reunited with its owner.
Lowestoft Police, found the snake in the Britten Road area of the town on Tuesday, August 2.
Posting on the Lowestoft Police Facebook account this morning, August 4, police officer 1416, said: "Good work with the sharing people, the snake Mercedes is home.
"My thoughts on it being a python and a boy (hopefully) called Dennis were way off!"
On Tuesday, Lowestoft Police said the snake was '100% fine' and being cared for by a nearby pet shop.
