Teenager arrested after stabbing in Lowestoft

A teenager has been arrested after a 24-year-old man was stabbed.

Police investigating the stabbing in Lowestoft earlier this evening have arrested a man in connection with the incident.

The victim was taken to James Paget University Hospital for treatment, where he is described as stable.

Officers were called at just after 7.30pm to reports that a man had been stabbed in Minden Road.

An 18-year-old man from Lowestoft has been arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm. He has been taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

Detectives are appealing for any witnesses to the attack. Anyone with information is asked to contact East CID at Lowestoft Police Station, quoting reference: 312 of 10 April 2023.
