Lowestoft man charged after teenager mugged in night time attack in Yarmouth Road
A man has been charged after a teenager was mugged and threatened with a screwdriver in a night time attack in Lowestoft.
The 17-year-old boy was attacked in Yarmouth Road at around 11.20pm on Wednesday.
The mugger took the victim's mountain bike, iPhone, AirPods earphones and his bag containing his bank cards. The teenager did not suffer physical injuries.
Nicholas Everett, of the town's London Road South, has been charged with robbery and possession of an offensive weapon.
The 32 year old was remanded to appear before Suffolk Magistrates' Court in Ipswich today.
